The Christy Minerals commitment to quality positions us as a leader in the mining and processing of Fireclay for a variety of applications. Our ISO Certified manufacturing facility is located in High Hill, MO.
Our commitment to quality starts well before the mine is opened by core drilling the property, testing and confirming the clay quality across the depth of the deposit, and establishing a mine plan to assure consistency across the life of the mine. Our engineers and material scientists utilize both X-Ray Florescence (XRF) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) in our testing lab to manage the properties of incoming clays to be processed and outgoing shipments to customers. Christy Minerals utilizes Gradex particle size analyzers for repeatable particle sizes results. We also operate a laser diffraction particle size analyzer for finer particle sized materials.
