Christy Minerals Fused Silica Advanced Shell Systems WDS2 (wide distribution slurry) was specifically designed to solve positive metal scrap issues and reduce shell cracks, replacing a 120-shell slurry in investment casting backup slurries. It has excellent flow characteristics, resulting in uniform shell build – especially around the corners and in difficult-to-invest part geometries.

Thanks to optimized corner build, the total number of dips is reduced, and you can achieve a lighter-weight shell with an even shell thickness.
